I am a DANOS ( Drug and Alcohol National Occupational Standards ) - registered substance misuse worker ( currently practising ) and am available to deliver drug awareness training sessions within the Liverpool / Merseyside area ( and surrounding environs ).
I can tailor bespoke courses as required and am available to work ( with notice ) during the day, evening and weekends. I can be booked on an hourly / daily basis.
My knowledge in relation to the substance misuse field is broad and current and I am constantly in the process of embellishing this knowledge. I have worked with young people, offenders and dual - diagnosis clients, amongst others, with a view to helping them to address their substance misuse issues. I also aim to educate around harm-reduction. Experience has also been gleaned ( mainly in Liverpool, but also in Los Angeles ) via roles within drug / alcohol detoxification / rehabilitation units. Other employment has included out-patient clinics and hostels ( including "wet houses" ) .
